We have board certified lactation consultants (IBCLC’s) on our team able to help you with learning to breastfeed as well as help solve any breast/bottle feeding challenges you might be having.
Ways we can help!
Bottle refusal, breastfeeding or bottle feeding issues, which formula, pumping, storing expressed milk, weaning onto solids… When it comes to feeding your baby, there are plenty of questions you’ll want to ask. During our visit, we’ll chat through your concerns and then troubleshoot them. You’ll come away with all the information you need and effective strategies for a contented well-fed baby
Our qualifications
Our lactation consultants are registered midwives and are also international board certified lactation consultants (IBCLC’s). Health Care rebates are usually available for all lactation consultation services (depending on the level of health cover you have). Check with your health fund provider directly for more info.
Our approach
Nest Care provides lactation consultations for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (from 4 months up to 6 years of age). We address both day and night-time feeding problems – we can come to you and/or assist you virtually (via phone/email support).
We also use gentle, hands off assistance where possible.
How it works
After a thorough evaluation of your situation, we’ll recommend the right approach for you and your family. We can assist via a phone/zoom consultation or in-home visit.
